JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville University student-athletes reached an unprecedented pinnacle of academic excellence, shattering multiple department and program records during the Fall 2025 semester.
For the first time in university history, the Athletics Department achieved a collective GPA above 3.6, finishing the term with a record-setting 3.60 departmental GPA. This historic performance was marked by widespread success across all 18 varsity programs.
Notably, nine teams set new program records this semester, including eight all-time marks and one best fall performance.
Every single JU sport program finished the semester with a GPA above 3.3, a new department benchmark.
A Culture of Excellence

* Four programs (Men's Golf, Women's Beach Volleyball, Women's Golf, and Women's Soccer) eclipsed a 3.7 GPA.
