PREVIEW | Jacksonville Prepares For Duel Of The Dolphins Against Le Moyne

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- For the first time in the history of Division I college sports, the Dolphins will be facing the Dolphins. The Jacksonville Dolphins open their home lacrosse slate against the Le Moyne Dolphins this Saturday.

This is the first ever meeting between the two teams, not only in lacrosse, but in any sport as Le Moyne is in just its third Division I season.

The Week Before
Jacksonville took another ranked team to the wire, losing an 11-10 thriller to No. 6 North Carolina this past Saturday. The Dolphins were led by ASUN Defensive Player of the Week Ryan Della Rocco's 15 saves between the pipes.

Jacksonville kept an elite North Carolina offense at bay, and the Dolphins faceoff unit won over 50% of draws against an All-American faceoff specialist. Jacksonville enters its third game of the season looking to turn strong performances into strong results.

Le Moyne lost the season opener to ASUN foe Queens (NC) 13-3 in a neutral site tilt.
