JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- Three Jacksonville men's rowers were named to the For Stars Network Watchlist for Division 1 Men's Heavyweight Rowing. Nominees were decided by the For Stars staff based on numerous factors including past performances, competitive erg times and coach nominations. Jacksonville's three nominees were juniors
Ian Brown and
Jack Galvin and freshman
Henry Fowler. They are among the 81 nominees spanning 36 teams across four conferences recognized as athletes to watch this coming spring.
Galvin became a key piece of Jacksonville's first Varsity 8+ last season, finishing his season in the bow seat at the Dad Vail Regatta. Brown's been a fixture throughout the lineup in his time in Jacksonville, most recently competing in the Varsity 8+ B crew at the Florida Fall Invite. Fowler is a standout amongst Jacksonville's impressive freshman class, earning a place in the Varsity 8+ A crew at the Florida Fall Invite.

program best finish at IRA Nationals in the spring and record a
historic win at the Head of the Charles this past fall.
