TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Playing out in the Florida state capital, the Jacksonville Dolphins fell to the #10 Florida State 7-1.
It was the third ranked game Jacksonville has played, all against Florida or Florida State.
Florida State jumped ahead early, 4-0, after two innings before graduate Dolphin

Brake was the standout bat for the 'Phins in Tallahassee, going 3-4 with the team's lone RBI. The catcher collected half of Jacksonville's six hits.
Freshman

Reese Wells earned the start, allowing three hits in 1 1/3 innings of work. She was followed by 2 1/3 from
Jacy Harrelson, 1 1/3 innings from
Karson Johnson and an inning from
Margaret Jenkins. Harrelson recorded the team's long strikeout from the circle.
Wednesday's mid-week non-conference matchup represents the second to last such game of the season, with the only lone non-conference game on the slate is a tilt against FAMU on April 7 at home.
