JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- Jacksonville men's lacrosse had six student-athletes named to the Academic All-ASUN team, the league announced Wednesday. The six honorees are: graduate student
Charlie DiGennaro, seniors
George Bowdouris and
Quinn Fuller and juniors
Maddox Johnson,
William Krupsky and
Drew Rippeon.
To earn a spot on the Academic All-ASUN team, student-athletes had to earn at least a 3.5 GPA and participate in at least 50% of athletic competitions during the season.
Rippeon is no stranger to academic honors, earning a spot on the Academic All-ASUN team a season ago. This year, he earned a 3.99 GPA with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Marketing.
Krupsky is another Business Administration major, minoring in Finance as well. He posted an impressive 3.94 GPA while earning a spot on the Davis College of Business Dean's List. Johnson posted a 3.7 GPA majoring in Computer Science.
Bowdouris started every game at close defense in the regular season while maintaining a 3.78 GPA with an Aviation Management and Operations and Finance double major. Fuller, another dey senior defenseman, earned a 3.81 GPA while majoring in Management.
After earning his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, DiGennaro continued to thrive academically with a 3.78 GPA pursuing his graduate degree in Exercise Science.
