JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- Jacksonville senior attackman
Jack Taylor has been named to the innaugual class for Coach Liam Gleason Humanitarian Award. The wared was established in January of this year in honor of former Sienna head coach Liam Gleason.
"Being a light in the world means spreading kindness, love, and positivity to those around you – helping dispel darkness and negativity. Simple acts of compassion can illuminate the lives of others and inspire them to do the same. Liam was that light in the world, and even though his physical presence is gone, his light continues to shine," said Sue Gleason in the official release from the Liam Gleason Foundation.
Coaches from all 77 Division I teams selected an honoree from their team to be recognized alongside Coach Gleason's daughter, Kennedy. Each team's winner exemplifies leadership, support for teammates, sportsmanship and community involvement.
