Three Dolphins Named InsideLacrosse All-American Honorable Mentions

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- Three Dolphins were selected to the InsideLacrosse All-American team: attackman Jack Taylor, long-stick midfielder Lucas Fraser and goalie Ryan Della Rocco. This ties the most IL All-Americans in a single season in program history, joining the 2022 season.

Taylor is no stranger to All-American plaudits. This is his second postseason All-American recognition this season after being honored by USA Lacrosse. He becomes the fourth player in JU history to earn multiple All-American selections in one season. He leads the country in total points, tallying 85 points entering the opening weekend of the NCAA Tournament. He ranks third nationally in points per game with 5.33.

Della Rocco now joins Taylor as the only two players in school history to earn All-American honors in multiple seasons. He previously earned honorable mention All-American honors from USA Lacrosse Magazine in 2024. Della Rocco's been one of the best goalies in the country, leading the nation in goals against average (7.24) and ranking top five in save percentage (59.2%). He's had eight games this season double-digit saves, and he's allowed fewer than 10 goals 11 times. He's been elite down the stretch, allowing a 5.26 GAA over his last seven games.

Fraser becomes the eighth player in program history to earn either USILA, InsideLacrosse or USA Lacrosse All-American honors. He's coming off another disruptive season in the middle of the field, racking up 37 ground balls and 27 caused turnovers.

Fraser is also among the top offensive long poles in the country, tallying six goals and two assists this season. He's recorded a point in four-straight games, including his first career multi-point game (1G, 1A) against Mercer on Apr. 25.

Jacksonville continues its inaugural NCAA Tournament appearance Sunday against the No. 2 seed Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Opening faceoff from Arlotta Stadium is scheduled for noon. The game will be broadcast on ESPNU.
