Harrisonburg, VA --- Jacksonville University right-hander
Brodie Scott earned Valley League South Division Pitcher of the Week honors after a pair of strong outings for the Harrisonburg Turks.
Scott, who is spending the summer in Harrisonburg alongside fellow Dolphin
Conner Spelman, posted a 1-0 record across 9.0 innings pitched during the week. The rising junior allowed just one earned run on seven hits while holding opponents to a 1.33 WHIP.
His top performance came on June 5 against the Charlottesville Tom Sox, where he tossed six innings, allowing five hits while earning the victory in a 3-1 Turks win. Scott also contributed three innings of relief against Waynesboro on May 31, surrendering just one run while striking out a batter.
The weekly honor marks another strong summer achievement for the Dolphins, as Scott continues to build momentum on the mound in one of the nation's premier collegiate summer leagues.
