Chris Gau carried his 0.00 ERA through another six innings of work, striking out six, and ASUN Conference Player of the Week Scott Dubrule batted in three runs in Game 2 while not striking out once in the series.

The Seminoles are 5-2 in their 37th year under Mike Martin, who has 1,903 wins in his time with Florida State. Quincy Nieporte already has 10 RBI this season, and Andrew Karp leads the starters in ERA with a 0.00.
