JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville University (10-9) returns to action this weekend in a three-game series, split between Orlando, Fla., on Friday and John Sessions Stadium on Saturday and Sunday, against the University of Central Florida (15-3). Friday's game will mark the 70th meeting all-time between the two programs.

The Jacksonville bats continued their offensive output Tuesday in a mid-week game at Florida A&M. The Dolphins defeated the Rattlers 12-5.

Scouting the Opponent      

UCF is in its first season under Head Coach Greg Lovelady, who has a 139-59 career record. The Knights are hitting .305 on the season with 139 runs scored and have stolen 36 bases on just 38 attempts, but are a little vulnerable to the strikeout with 130 K's on the year and don't draw many walks. The pitching staff has a combined ERA of 2.52.
