Fort Myers, Fla. – The Jacksonville University men's cross country team raced to ninth place finish at the 2019 ASUN Conference Championships, Saturday morning at Buckingham Complex.
"There were some personal bests to be proud of, but the team results speak for themselves. We have to take our medicine and chart a course forward," noted Director of Cross Country and Track & Field

Alex Turnock paced the Dolphins with a time of 27:41.8 to place 58th overall. Following Turnock was freshman Brad Kennelly placing 67th with a new personal best (29:43.3). Senior

Ryan Nagy added depth as Nagy raced to a new PR, and finished 68th and 69th, respectively. Senior
Gabriel Nackashi rounded out the Dolphin contingent placing 70th.
Lipscomb was crowned ASUN Champions, while the Bisons' Brent Leder won the individual title in 24:17.6.
Showing great improvement, the Dolphins closed out the 2019 season with a ninth place overall finish.
