BRASELTON, Ga. – The Jacksonville University men's golf team kicked off action in the ASUN Championship at the Chateau Elan Legends Course and rests in fourth place overall after 18 holes. Meanwhile, Thomas Thurloway sleeps in a three-way tie for the individual lead after firing a -2, 70.

Thurloway is deep in River City Rivalry territory, knotted with a pair of competitors from North Florida after Sunday's action. The junior began the day three-over-par through four holes with a double but rattled off five birdies from then on to post his 10th round under par so far this season. He will tee it up at 11:50 a.m. on Monday morning.

Eduardo Carrete checks in tied for 11th overall after posting a +4, 76 with Same Uhland close behind in a tie for 19th after rolling out a +6, 78. Dolphin tee times will get underway officially at 11:10 a.m. with players from FGCU and Lipscomb joining the pairings.
