ORLANDO, Fla. - The Jacksonville men's cross country team concluded their season at the ASUN Championship in Disney this Halloween weekend, finishing 12th overall. 

Owen Skelton crossed the finish line first for JU, improving on his last performance with a 28:30.50 time. Following less than a minute behind was, Thomas Hellenbrand, Kobe Latimer, and Riley Maher.  
 
Next, five more Dolphins finished their seasons following one another, Travis Freund led the rest of the pod with a time of 29:39.20. Ryan Wethington, Douglas Kukura, Kody Everett, and Nicloas Arciniegas finished seconds later to put a wrap on the 2021 campaign.  

 
 "Like most competitions this year, today was another step in the right direction" said Head Coach Jordon Garman. "The ASUN has gotten exponentially stronger, and it is a long-term goal of our team to do the same." 
 

This will complete the Dolphins' cross country season as they take a positive and strong outlook ahead to the off-season to come back further improved in 2022.
