CLEMSON, S.C. – After a meet in Columbia to open the season, the Dolphins traveled back to South Carolina, this time to Clemson for the Bob Pollock Invitational. JU would compete over January 28th & 29th and finish with six top-10 finishes.
The performances were much improved. About every entrant improved upon their scores from just one week ago at the Carolina Challenge, most notably Alyssia Richard's +2m to her Shot-Put distance and both Sadie Morris and Anna Greentree taking two & three seconds off their 800 times, respectively.
With the ASUN indoor championships already four weeks away, Coach Ron Grigg wants to see this steady progression that the team has had thus far. "We showed significant improvement over last week, it is critical to keep this trajectory as we move toward the conference championship."
Jacksonville's next meet will be in two weeks as they travel to Columbia, South Carolina for the UOFSC INDOOR OPEN on Saturday, February 12th.
