LEXINGTON, Ky. – Three Jacksonville Dolphins concluded their seasons this week at the University of Kentucky, competing at the NCAA East Regional competition.

Julia Sue-Kam-Ling and
Ma'Kala Davis joined sprinter
Savannah Chadic at East Regionals, representing not only the Dolphins but the Atlantic Sun among the nation's top talent. The trio got to regionals by holding one of the top 48 scores through the year in their respective events.
Thursday, both Sue-Kam-Ling and Chadic competed, with Sue-Kam-Ling in the long jump and Chadic in the 400m sprint.
The senior Sue-Kam-Ling finished 40
th overall in her event, totaling a distance of 5.76 meters. As for Chadic, she finished 33
rd in her field with a time of 52.76.
Davis was the final Dolphin to compete, taking her talents to the triple jump Saturday. She finished with a season-best jump of 12.84 meters. She finished 21
st.
The three student-athletes finishing at East Regionals concluded the season for JU track and field, which featured Davis winning Indoor MVP and saw the team earn four individual medals and two relay medals at the Outdoor Championship.
