GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Joseph Sullivan finished up the Gators Invitational on Sunday tied for 24th place helping Jacksonville University men's golf secure a T-8 finish overall.

Entering round three at a score of even, Sullivan shot an even par 35 on the front nine and sat T-17 heading into the back, before dropping a few shots on his way into the clubhouse making three bogeys and one birdie to finish in the top 25 for the second time this season.

Right behind Sullivan in scoring was Filip Raza, who shot the lowest third round score on the team of even par 70. After making a birdie, one bogey and a double in his first 15 holes, Raza would finish with two birdies in his final three leading him to a T-34 finish overall.

Grant Haefner was next in scoring for the Dolphins after completing a solid third round which included the team's only eagle of the week, coming on the 12th hole. Haefner would go on to add two bogeys, two doubles and one birdie for a third-round score of 73 (+3) leaving him T-49 overall.

Alexandre Vandermoten had a tough final round shooting a score of 78 (+8) which included two birdies, four bogeys, one double, and one triple. Sitting in the clubhouse at +11 for the tournament Alexandre would fall to T-59.

Also finishing T-59 for the tournament was Josef Hacker who made two birdies and four bogeys in route to a final round 72 (+2) and overall score of +11.

The third round capped off a slightly inconsistent tournament for the Dolphins where they finished second overall in pars with 178, but also were second to last in birdies with just 32. JU battled with perhaps the toughest field it will face this season.

Next up, the Dolphins head to Placida, FL on Monday, Feb. 12, for rounds one and two of the Coral Creek Club Invitational.
