JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- After a few weeks away from competition, the Jacksonville men's golf team makes the trip to Southwest Florida for the West Bay Collegiate Invitational, hosted by Florida Gulf Coast.
The tournament, scheduled for Monday Oct. 5 and Tuesday Oct. 6, is a 54-hole tournament featuring 15 teams from around the southeast. Monday will open with two round and 36 holes of competition before Tuesday's Final Round. All three will be a shotgun start.
The Dolphins will battle with the hosting Eagles as well as: Appalachian State, Elon, FAU, Houston Christian, Lamar, Lipscomb, Stetson, Troy, UCF, Louisiana Monroe, UTRGV, UTSA and West Georgia.
Jacksonville participated at this tournament a season ago. The Dolphins finished seventh of 10 teams, while
Brandon Lohr surged to a T4 finish. He shot an opening round 66 (-6) en route to an 11-under finish for the tournament.
The Course
West Bay Club | Estero, Fla.
The West Bay Club was designed by the great Pete Dye in the late 1990s. For this tournament, the course will play as a Par 72 at 6,939 yards. The course is filled with scoring opportunities if a player strikes his ball well.
Only one of the four Par Fives play longer than 512 yards, while five Par Fours play under 400 yards including the 327-yard 13th hole.

Lohr is coming off a T85 finish at the JT Poston Invitational, but he was electric at this tournament last season. His T4 finish is one of two top five finishes in his career, while his 11-under final score is the lowest tournament score in his career.
Andrew Morgan, Junior

Most Recent Finish: T42, -1 (JT Poston Invitational, 2026)
Morgan has had an electric start to the 2026 season, earning ASUN Golfer of the Week following his performance in the JT Poston Invitational. He's been a birdie machine this season, tallying 29 birdies in six rounds this season.
Evan Raynor, Sophomore

Most Recent Finish: T64, +3 (JT Poston Invitational, 2026)
Raynor has had a strong start to his sophomore season, starting each of the season's first three events and posting his first career Top 20 at the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate earlier this fall. He made his college debut at the West Bay Club last season, carding a Top 50 finish as an individual.
Andrew Sevene, Junior

Sevene returns for his second appearance of the season, competing as an individual in the season opener in Myrtle Beach. He played at the West Bay last season, earning a T65 finish, his best result of last season.
Sean Reddy, Freshman

Reddy becomes the second freshman to make his college debut this season, joining teammate
Ledger Conley who started the first two tournaments of the season. Reddy brings pedigree from across the pond, competing in major tournaments across Europe including the British Boys Amateur.

Ver Straate also joins Reddy as freshman debutants this week, making the start as an individual. The freshman from Lone Tree, Colorado was a top ranked high school player in his home state, finishing in the Top 15 of the state championship four times.
