When asked about how he felt his team performed in their first event of the year, Head Coach
Preston Weinard praised both the performance and attitude of his Dolphins.
"I thought it was a great day for our team! Our goal was simple: to execute a full, consistent race, and develop a race-day attitude. And to walk away with a win in each event always feels good. I am proud of how the team performed today on the race course, but even more proud of how the team worked together on land: showing JU pride all day and having each other's back. The team represented JU so well today, and I am most proud of that. I also want to thank Stetson for organizing the event, and Stetson and Wesleyan for great races all day long!" said Weinard.
JU will now take a week-long break before travelling to Melbourne, FL on Saturday, March 26, to take part in their rescheduled event vs Florida Tech and Stetson.
