GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Dolphins traveled back to Florida Gator territory for the second time in two weeks to participate in the 2022 Tom Jones Memorial.
Taking part in fourteen events, the team finished with five top-ten placements and multiple all-time personal and team accomplishments. Adja Sackor finished with her season-best in the triple jump (13.25m) to move her into fifth in the East Region. She placed a team-high fourth in the triple jump event.
Emma Sullivan continued to improve her young career as she moved herself into third all-time in JU history for the 800 run with a time of 2:06.05, a time that placed her seventh in the Tom Jones Memorial.
A team of Alexis Williams, Precious Ogba, Pashen Williams, and Sadae Davidson continued their impressive running together as well as they moved into second all-time in JU history. Both Pashen Williams and Sadae Davidson were a part of the record in the 4x400 history of JU when they completed it in 3:35.79 in 2020. This time, the 2022 4x400 team finished at 3:35.97.
Elizabeth Crosby additionally turned in two personal bests in the 100 hurdles and 400 hurdles.
