Jacksonville, Fla. - Colin Hinton and Max Waldbaum picked up their third All-American recognition of the postseason, as the Dolphin duo were named to the USILA All-American list, it was announced Thursday afternoon. 

"Colin Hinton and Max Waldbaum deserve to be recognized nationally, and I am thankful the coaches who voted recognized their contributions not only to our program, but compared to their peers," head coach John Galloway said.  "On the first day of practice, these two went at eachother on a grass field in 90 degree heat with just their teammates watching. They set a tone for the remainder of the year, and were a integral part of our success this spring."

A product of Kensington, Md., Hinton finished his Dolphin career with a list of career accolades, including being the 2022 Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Year, a 2022 SoCon First Team selection, an Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-American in 2022, 2022 USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American 2022 Inside Lacrosse All-American, and a 2021 SoCon Second Team choice. Hinton finished second on the team with 41 groundballs, adding 16 caused turnovers in 2022. In 36 career collegiate contests, Hinton recorded 67 groundballs and 40 caused turnovers. Earlier this month, Hinton was selected by the Whipsnakes Lacrosse Club in the 2022 Premier Lacrosse League College Draft. 

In his first year on the Dolphins, Waldbaum finished second on JU with 48 goals, while adding 24 assists and collecting 35 groundballs. The Denver, Colo. native was named a Team Captain prior to the season, collecting weekly honors from the conference, Inside Lacrosse and the USILA on Feb. 15. A Tewaaraton Award Watch List member, Waldbaum stuffed the stat sheet with 5+ points on nine occasions this season. Max was named an All-American by USA Lacrosse Magazine and Inside Lacrosse earlier this month.
