JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Jacksonville University beach volleyball announced the addition of former Dolphin
Katie Krawczyk to the staff on Thursday.
She assumes the role of assistant coach under Head Coach
Dylan Hough, who is entering his fourth season as leader of the program.
"We are thrilled to have Katie back on campus this year," said Hough. "She was a key part of the success of this program as a student-athlete, and I know she will be just as great, if not better, in her new role.
"Katie is very passionate about the Jacksonville beach volleyball program and she's got a ton of energy and we're excited for her to be able to share all of her experiences here at JU with the current and future teams here."
Krawczyk returns to the Jacksonville beach volleyball program after playing for the Dolphins from 2016-19. In 2018, she was named to the Atlantic Sun All-Conference and All-Academic teams. Throughout her playing career, Krawczyk was also a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. From 2017-19 she served as the Executive Board Secretary for the committee.
Prior to returning to Jacksonville, she recently worked with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an Events and Entertainment Assistant. She has also worked with organizations such as the Orlando Magic, Florida Region of USA Volleyball and GMTM Sports.
"The first pair win of my collegiate coaching career was on Katie's court in 2017 against a top-20 program in the country, and I'm excited that Katie will be able to contribute to many more of those wins here as a part of the coaching staff!" Hough added.
