JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Academic excellence continues to be a standard for the Jacksonville University beach volleyball program.

The Dolphins have earned an AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll distinction for the second consecutive year and the fifth time in program history. The Honor Roll recognizes programs whose team GPAs rank among the top 20% nationally within their division.

Jacksonville also earned the 2026 American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Award after finishing the 2025–26 academic year with a 3.78 team GPA, matching its mark from a year ago. To qualify for the Team Academic Award, collegiate programs must maintain at least a 3.30 cumulative team GPA throughout the academic year.

The Dolphins have now earned the award in seven of the last eight years, receiving the honor every year since 2019, with the exception of 2024.

The recognition adds to a strong academic year for Jacksonville, which also placed a program-record six student-athletes on the Academic All-ASUN Team.
