JACKSONVILLE, FLA- Jacksonville University women's track and field program traveled back to Gainesville to compete in day two of the University of Florida Premier. Alana Lecointe placed first in the Women's Weight Throw with a mark of 18.53m. She threw a personal best and now is in the Top 3 of the conference.
Alyssia Richard threw a season best in Women's shot with a mark of 14.20m, placing herself second in the conference.
Joy Whittington placed third in the Women's 60 hurdles with a personal best of 8.98. Reyniyah IIaaraza also ran a personal best of 9.46. Teammates Emma DeRosa, Emily Haney, and Jordan Dix ran a personal best with a time of 5:58.93, 5:57.41, and 5:46.73.
Emma Sullivan ran a 2:06.92 in the 800m which placed her top 54 in the NCAA rankings and second in the conference.
Mariandree Chacon, Joanna Rogers, Cassie Thompson, and Emma Sullivan ran a time of 3:46.20 setting a leading time for the ASUN conference.
