DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Jacksonville University men's and women's cross country ran at the Embry-Riddle Spikes Classic on Friday evening.
The Dolphins had competitors run in four events.
Mya Bodrato ran the 1500m in the fourth heat of the day, and posted a time of 4:59.49.
Three racers competed in the men's 1500m, with
Victor Farfan finishing in the fastest time for JU. He competed in the second-fastest section, and crossed the line in 4:04.09, a personal record.
Donald Dempsey III also posted a PR of 4:15.79.
Nicolas Arciniegas ran in a time of 4:29.86 and
Andrew Blanchette ran in 4:49.24.
In the women's 5000m,
Emma Sgroi crossed the line in 18:46.28 in the top section of the event.
Jordan Dix completed the race in 20:36.40 and
Emma DeRosa finished in 20:58.66.
The evening concluded with three runners competing in the men's 5000m.
Thomas Hellenbrand was the Dolphins top finisher, completing the race in 15:32.83.
Lewis Perry posted a personal record, finishing in 16:09.08 and
Owen Skelton crossed the line at 16:30.31.
