GAINESVILLE, FLA- Jacksonville University Women's Track and Field Graduate Student Hayleigh Haid broke her own record in the Women's 3000 Steeple at the Pepsi Florida Relays.

Haid finished in 10:04.33 breaking her previous record of 10:09.25 set April 16, 2021 also in Gainesville. Haid, who also owns the record in 5k with a time of 16:46.01 is ranked number 4 in NCAA Steeple.  

"Hayleigh executed the perfect race and clinched a personal record, school record, and time that will put her very high in the regional rankings. Her consistency, discipline, and love for running continues to pay off. We are very excited to build on this with 6 weeks before conference and 8 weeks before regionals." said Distance Coach Jordon Garman.
