JACKSONVILLE, Fla.- After an Easter weekend that saw victories across the board for the Jacksonville athletic programs, the Dolphins remain as busy as ever with their respected conference schedules. Almost every spring sport JU has will be in action at some point this week.

Baseball

  • Scheduled to play four games, with a Tuesday midweek out-of-conference matchup vs. Georgia Southern and an ASUN road series against Jacksonville State, who is tied for second in the league headed into the weekend
  • JU is coming off of a 3-1 week, featuring a road win at Florida State and a home series win over Eastern Kentucky
  • The Dolphins have recorded wins over the Florida big-three schools (Florida, Florida State and Miami) in the same season for just the second time in program history (first time since 2002) and the first time ever all on the road
 

Beach Volleyball

  • Beach Volleyball travels to Columbia, S.C. for their final tournament of the regular season

  • The men wrap up regular season tournament action at the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial in Charlottesville, Virginia on Monday and Tuesday
  • The Dolphins are coming off of a tournament win last week at The Southern Invitational
  • Joseph Sullivan, who finished second overall, was named ASUN Golfer of the Week for the first time in his career
Men's Lacrosse

  • The Dolphins face another short turnaround week with a Wednesday matinee contest against Detroit Mercy. Jacksonville then travels to St. Charles, Missouri to take on Lindenwood Saturday
  • Last week, the Dolphins offense erupted for their first 20+ goal game of the season. Jacob Greiner led the charge with a tied-program best 11 points
  • The team remains in the hunt for the first seed in the conference. They currently sit in second place in the ASUN rankings
Men's Rowing

  • The men's rowing team will travel to Oak Ridge, Tennessee for SIRA this upcoming weekend
  • Last weekend, the Varsity Eight for the Dolphins won their Petite Final at the Occoquan Invitational. This upcoming weekend has postseason implications as winning boats receive an automatic bid to the IRA National Championships
Softball

  • The Dolphins travel to Tallahassee to take on Florida State for a midweek game Wednesday at 6pm.
  • Jacksonville hosts the Owls this weekend with a three-game series Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. (times 7pm, 3pm, 1pm)
  • Ally Bratek got her sixth homerun of the season this past weekend against EKU

  • Alana Lecointe placed second in the Women's Shot Put with a mark of 14.42m
