JACKSONVILLE, FLA – Jacksonville University junior Kristi Snyman won first place with a new ASUN record of 1.85m at the ASUN Outdoor Championships Thursday evening. The previous record was set in 2005.
Alana Lecointe came in fifth place in the women's hammer throw with a mark of 51.10m on Thursday afternoon.
On Friday afternoon, Alyssia Richard threw her season best of 48.50m which placed her second in the women discuss throw. She won first place in shot put with a mark of 15.35m.
Sela Gur-Arie placed fifth in the women's triple jump with a mark of 11.63m Saturday afternoon.
On the running side, Graduate Student Hayleigh Haid won second place in the 3000 steeplechase with a time of 10:28.49.
Joanna Rogers placed third in the 400m dash with a time of 55.06.
Cassie Thompson and freshman teammate Mariandree Chacon finished second and third in the 200m dash with a time of 24.36 and 24.39.
Chacon placed fifth in the 100m dash with a time of 12.04.
