After women's soccer kicked off the 2023-24 athletic year with a win in its home opener on Friday night, the fall season jumps into full gear with a full slate of contests this week.

• Women's soccer opened the season splitting their first two games. They picked up the victory in the home opener against Alabama State and fell to the 12^th ranked team in the nation, South Carolina.
• Nineteen freshmen made their collegiate debuts in the season opener, with four earning their first career start and the likes of Nya Bridgewater, Ines Martin and Lillian Young all scored to start their collegiate careers
• Beyonce Robinson, who scored in the team's season opener in 2022, assisted Anaya Black to kick-off the scoring that started the season.
• Jacksonville last faced FIU in 2021, in which the Dolphins claimed a 3-2 win on the back of an 86^th minute game winner by Olivia Abdallah

• Volleyball starts its 2023 campaign with a west coast swing in the San Jose State/Santa Clara Tourney
• Entering the fourth season under head coach Maggie Johnson, the squad features seven new players (three transfers and four freshmen)
• It is the first-ever trip to California for the program it its history and a homecoming or sorts for senior setter Niccola Bozzini, a Los Gatos native
