JACKSONVILLE, FLA. --- The start times for Thursday's men's and women's basketball double-header have been changed. 

The women's basketball game against Florida Tech is now scheduled for 5 PM and the men's basketball home opener against the Trinity College of Florida is now slated for 8 PM. The games were previously slated for 5:30 and 7:30 respectively. 

Both games will be streamed on ESPN+. Tickets for the men's basketball opener can be found HERE.

The Dolphins opened the 2025-26 basketball season Monday. The women hosted the Charleston Southern Buccaneers, winning 86-84 in an overtime thriller. The men's team traveled to face the Miami (FL) Hurricanes, falling 86-69. 

Jacksonville men's basketball returns to the court after reaching the postseason last season after a run to the ASUN semi-finals. The Dolphins men's and women's teams are a combined 41-14 at Swisher Gymnasium since 2023. Each program won more than 75% of their games on home court a season ago.
