Haley Warden Named Women’s Lacrosse Associate Head Coach

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Head Coach Tara Singleton and the Jacksonville University Athletic Department have announced the promotion of Haley Warden to Associate Head Coach.

Her elevation comes on the heels of a regular season title for the Dolphins this past year. Warden made early strides for JU in her first season, helping lead a young team to a 6-0 ASUN conference record.

Head Coach Tara Singleton highlighted her immediate contribution to the team, "Haley has made an immediate impact on our program. She has improved so many aspects of our game and is constantly striving to push for more. This promotion is so well deserved and I am lucky to have her as part of our staff!"

Warden came to JU following a successful coaching stint at Arizona State and a championship level career at James Madison as both a player and coach.

As an assistant coach and offensive coordinator at Arizona State University, Warden significantly contributed to the team's impressive performance and player development. Under her leadership, the team achieved the top ranking in the Pac-12 for draws and draw controls per game and secured the 2nd spot for goals per game average in 2024. Nationally, the team was ranked 8th in draw controls per game
and 27th in scoring offense.

Over the course of a brilliant four-year run with the James Madison Dukes, Warden established herself as one of the best to ever wear the purple and gold. She capped her playing career in the ultimate fashion, captaining the 2018 team to the NCAA Championship, the first in program history. Warden was named the Most Outstanding Player of the National Championship Game after delivering a four-goal performance in a 16-15 win over Boston College.

During her three years as part of the coaching staff at James Madison, she assisted in all areas of the women's lacrosse program, including recruiting, coaching, and developing student-athletes. She specifically worked with the draw takers and offensive personnel in skill development, game planning, and overall team concepts.

Warden has added multitudes of experience to the program, shining on the field and the sidelines. Warden has represented on both the international and professional level, selected as an alternate for Team USA, and serving as a member of the training team ahead of the 2022 Women's Lacrosse World Championships.

Professionally, Warden was drafted by the WPLL Pride, competing in the inaugural season for the league in 2018. She was recently a part of another groundbreaking league, playing with Athletes Unlimited during the 2021 season. Warden served as a captain during the five-week season and finished seventh in overall stat points.

Warden received her B.B.A in Computer Information Systems from James Madison in 2018
