JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- The Jacksonville women's lacrosse program claimed a handful of academic honors from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association. The team received the Academic Honor Squad distinction, while 12 Dolphins were named to the Division 1 Academic Honor Roll.
To qualify for Academic Honor Squad status, a team must have a team GPA of 3.2 or higher for the academic year. Jacksonville exceeded that mark, posting an impressive team GPA of 3.63 for the 2024-25 season.
To qualify for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete needed to be an upperclassmen and earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Jacksonville's 12 recipients were the most among all ASUN programs.
The 12 Dolphins selected were: seniors
Jenelle Bennardo,
Kaila Stasulli,
Bailey Broadbent,
Brooke Demaggio,
Brynn Hoffman,
Maddy Orefice and
Natalie Pansini, as well as juniors
Brigid Manning,
Abby Moran,
Kylie Redman,
Maddi Santini and
Ainsley Scruggs.
Earlier this year, Stasulli and Scruggs also earned academic honors from the Atlantic Sun. They were both named to the ASUN All-Academic team in the spring.Â
