Dolphins Add Stasulli, Lagdameo As Graduate Assistants

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- The Jacksonville women's lacrosse program announced the hire of two graduate assistants for the 2026 season: Kaila Stasulli and Ria Lagdameo. The duo joins the staff after illustrious playing careers.

Stasulli is a Dolphin legend, spending four years representing JU on the field. She's a two-time Atlantic Sun Defensive Player of the Year and a three-time All-Conference performer. She played in 72 games, corralling 97 ground balls, causing 64 turnovers and collecting 161 draw controls.

"I am so happy Kaila will be staying at JU as a member of our staff," Jacksonville head coach Tara Singleton said. "She has done so much for this program as a player and I can't wait to see the impact she will have as a coach."

In addition to her success in Jacksonville, Stasulli became a star on the international stage. She captained the Philippines to their first international medal at the Asia-Pacific Women's Lacrosse Championships last year. She will lead the Philippines to their first-ever Women's World Lacrosse Championship in Tokyo next year.

Stasulli also boasts plenty of successes away from the playing field. She thrived in the classroom, earning ASUN All-Academic honors as a senior. She's also involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, where she volunteers and served as a campus leader while an athlete at JU.

Lagdameo also comes to Duval County with international experience, playing alongside Stasulli with the Philippines. An accomplished leader, she captained the UMBC Retrievers this past season.

"Ria will bring a fresh perspective and energy to our team and staff," Singleton said. "She has a passion for community and team culture, and I am looking forward to working alongside her."

She was a stalwart for four years, playing in 57 games. Lagdameo posted 18 points (15G, 3A) in her career, also adding 27 ground balls and 20 caused turnovers as a starting defender.

Her off-field bona fides include a robust academic career, being named to the IWLCA Academic Honor roll and being inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, also known as the National College Athlete Honor Society.
