JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- The Jacksonville men's rowing program added eight new rowers to the crew for the 2025-26, bringing in athletes from around the world to Duval County.
"This is a well rounded, athletic and smart group that will bring a solid work ethic and energy to our squad," JU head coach
Preston Weinard said. "Coach Allison Taylor found great talent from all over the globe for this class, with a wide range of experiences that will enhance the experience for us here at JU."

The rest of the freshman class features athletes from all over the country. Whether they rowed in national championships, captained their club teams or thrived at the high school level, the group brings valuable experience from all corners of the US.
Matthew Matar from McLean, Virginia, Jacob Manny from Clifton Park, New York, Henry Fowler from Haddon Township New Jersey and Ethan Cabucana from Denver, Colorado are all set to make an impact for the Dolphins.
