BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Jacksonville fell 1-0 on the road against 22nd-ranked FAU Thursday (Aug. 28) at FAU Soccer Stadium. A last second goal was the difference, dropping the Dolphins to 1-2 on the season.
How it Happened
Jacksonville kept the Owls off the scoreboard in the first half and much of the second, as FAU scored with 49 seconds left in the match to take the first and only lead of the game.Â
Simen Havig led Jacksonville with two saves as the backline played well for the majority of the game. The Dolphins registered eight shots in the loss, three of them on goal. Jacksonville faced eight FAUÂ shots, three of them on goal.
