Shae Hagans was named the league's Offensive Player of the Week, and senior defender
Maggie Cuddy earned Defensive Player of the Week honors.
The dynamic duo spearheaded the Dolphins to a pair of signature wins, downing Brown 16-10 and Marquette 15-13.
Hagans was a supernova for Jacksonville's offense this weekend. She set a new career high for goals with five against the Bears Friday. She added four more against Marquette. For the weekend, she scored nine goals, tallied 11 total points, grabbed two ground balls with one caused turnover and three caused turnovers.
She did her damage with great efficiency, scoring her nine goals on 13 shots, a crisp 69.2% shooting percentage for the weekend.
Cuddy, the preseason ASUN Defensive Player of the Year, has been a rock solid presence all season. This weekend, she stuffed the stat sheet. Against Marquette, she tied her career-high with five caused turnovers against Marquette, adding three ground balls and two draw controls.
Against Brown, she added two ground balls and two draw controls. For the season, she's up to eight ground balls, six caused turnovers and nine draw controls in four games.
Hagans, Cuddy and the Dolphins will hit the road for the first time this weekend when they face the Towson Tigers Saturday at 11 AM.
