Lohr Earns All-ASUN Second Team Honors

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- Atlantic Sun Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Jacksonville sophomore Brandon Lohr was named to the All-ASUN Second Team following a standout second season with the Dolphins.

Lohr is fresh off the ASUN Championship where he turned in his best result of the season. He finished in a tie for third place, shooting eight-under for the tournament. Lohr shot three-straight under-par rounds to post his best finish of the season.

While he peaked in the season finale, Lohr was excellent all year long. He posted the best scoring average for the Dolphins, averaging a 70.8 per round.

In addition to his top three at the conference tournament, Lohr finished with four Top 10 finishes in the season. He was on a tear throughout the fall, finishing eighth in the season opener at the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate and fourth at the West Bay Collegiate Invitational.

The West Bay Collegiate was his low tournament relative to par, shooting 11-under over three rounds. Lohr was consistent throughout the year. He finished in the Top 30 all but once across the 10 tournament season.

Lohr is the first JU player to be named to an All-ASUN team since Alexandre Vandermoten earned third-team honors in 2023. He's Jacksonville's 26th All-ASUN golfer since 2000.

Lohr is no stranger to ASUN awards. Last season, he was named to the ASUN All-Freshman team. As a freshman, he posted two top 10 finishes, including a tie for sixth at the ASUN Championships.
