MIDLOTHIAN, Va. --- The Jacksonville men's golf team completed the 2025-26 regular season Tuesday afternoon, completing the final day of competition at the Giles-Sprately Collegiate at Independence Golf Club in Midlothian, Virginia.
The Dolphins placed 12th out of 14 teams over three rounds of competition. Jacksonville had three golfers finish in the Top 30 of the individual standings.
Senior
Daniel Montalvo and sophomores
Brandon Lohr and
Andrew Morgan all finished one-over for the tournament, tied for 27th place.Â
Morgan's finish is his best result of his sophomore campaign. He opened the tournament in flying fashion with back-to-back under-par rounds of 70 (-2) to race into the top ten entering Tuesday's round. After a five-over 77, he still secured his highest finish this year.
Lohr has been a consistent performer all season, placing in the Top 30 in all but one event this year. He got better each round this week. The Orlando native shot rounds of 74 (+2) and 73 (+1) on Monday, saving his best round --- a two-under 70 --- for Tuesday's finale.
Fresh off his top-three finish in last week's UNCW Seahawk Invitational, Montalvo recorded his third Top 30 in his last four events. He was steady all week, opening with an even-par 72 and a one-under 71 Monday. His two-over 74 on Tuesday put him in a tie with Lohr, Morgan and seven other golfers for 27th place.
Senior
Tomas Hjaltested was the fourth-best score for JU, finishing in solo 73rd place with a 12-over score for the tournament. His best round of the week came in Tuesday's final round, where he posted a three-birdie 74.
Freshman
Evan Raynor was Jacksonville's fifth competitor for the week, finishing +17 for the week.
