Taylor Named USA Lacrosse All-American

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville senior attackman Jack Taylor added another accolade to his sterling JU career, being named an honorable mention All-American by USA Lacrosse.

This is Taylor's second-consecutive season earning an All-American selection from USA Lacrosse. He is the first player in program history to earn postseason All-American honors in multiple seasons his career.

Taylor has had the most historic offensive season in Jacksonville history. He leads the country in scoring, totaling 85 points (40G, 45A) this season. He broke JU's single-season points record and moved into third all-time on the school's career points list.

In the last month, Taylor has taken his game to another level as he's helped lead the Dolphins to unprecedented heights, including the first conference title and NCAA tournament victory.

In his last five games, he's averaged 6.8 points per game, including 20 points over three postseason games.

Taylor has a bright lacrosse future ahead, as he was drafted 31st overall by the Denver Outlaws in the PLL College Draft.

He'll look to keep his JU career going a bit longer, as the Dolphins face the Notre Dame Fighting Irish for a spot in the NCAA Quarterfinals this Sunday at noon. The game will be broadcast on ESPNU.
