JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville University men's soccer program officially announced its complete 16-match regular-season schedule on July 23rd.
The Dolphins, who ended their 2025 season in the ASUN Semifinals, will begin their journey back to a championship on August 20 with the start of a two-game road trip through Texas.
The first 90 minutes of the new campaign are set for a matchup against Houston Christian, marking the first-ever meeting between the two programs. The Huskies are coming off consecutive appearances in the OVC Championship match.
Three days later, the Dolphins will head west on I-10 to San Antonio to take on Incarnate Word in another debut matchup.
Ali Simmons' squad will then return home to play its home opener on August 28 against Georgia Southern, looking to avenge a 2-1 loss from last season's meeting in Statesboro.
Jacksonville remains at Southern Oak Stadium on September 1 to host Trinity Baptist College. The Dolphins earned a 9-1 victory over the Eagles when the two sides met last season.
Conference play begins as JU is set to host the first round of this year's River City Rumble, as the Dolphins welcome North Florida on September 5.
JU follows its conference opener with three consecutive league matchups, traveling to Queens on September 12, hosting Lipscomb on September 19 and hopping back on the road to face Central Arkansas on September 26.
The Dolphins step back into non-conference play on September 29 with a trip to Memphis. Jacksonville will look to leave Tennessee with a victory after the two sides battled to a scoreless draw at Southern Oak Stadium last season.
JU returns to the road on October 6 for a matchup with Georgia State. The Dolphins scored twice in the final seven minutes to earn a 2-0 victory over the Panthers in Jacksonville last season and will look to make it three straight in the series.
Jacksonville then makes the short trip down Interstate 95 to face Stetson on October 10 before continuing to Tampa for a non-conference matchup against South Florida on October 14. South Florida enters the season under first-year head coach George Kiefer, who led Grand Canyon when the Dolphins faced the Lopes last season.
The Dolphins return home to host Bellarmine on October 17 before welcoming Mercer to Southern Oak Stadium on October 20 for their final non-conference match of the regular season. JU and Mercer played to a 1-1 draw in Macon during the 2025 campaign.
Jacksonville closes its road schedule on October 24 against first-year ASUN member West Florida before returning home to face Florida Gulf Coast in the regular-season finale on Halloween night.
The Dolphins enter 2026 looking to build on a season that included their first trip to the ASUN Semifinals since 2021. Jacksonville also produced the first ASUN Freshman of the Year in program history, placed a program-record four players on the ASUN All-Freshman Team and earned a program-record six Academic All-ASUN selections.
