TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – In the Florida state capital, Jacksonville cross country was at it again, this time at the NCAA Pre-Regional hosted by Florida State. And it was once again Isabel DeVos leading the charge for the Dolphins.

DeVos finished 30^th overall with a time of 22:30.4. She was less than one minute off pace to break her personal best in the 6000m. Among JU student-athletes, she had the best finish and was the fourth highest finishing ASUN cross country runner, just three seconds behind a runner from FGCU in 29^th.

Behind DeVos was freshman Kyla Perez, racing in just her second collegiate meet. Perez finished 85^th with a time of 23:39.7. It was her first time running the 6K.

Inside the top-100, Alexis Holmes earned 97^th place behind a time of 23:54.1. The junior from Jacksonville was less than 40 seconds off her personal best time in the event. 

Rounding out the Dolphin contingency was freshman Kiara Rakes, too racing in the first 6K of her career. Rakes set her new career mark in the event with a time of 25:13.2, finishing in 152nd place.

With its four runners, Jacksonville as a team finished in 16th place among 28 teams. It was the third best finish among ASUN schools.
