JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – For the third time in her career and second time this season, Jacksonville University women's soccer player Millie Urquhart has been named the ASUN Defensive Player of the Week.

The league announced Urquhart's weekly honor Monday, following Jacksonville's commanding 6-0 win over Warner on Senior Night.

Urquhart, a senior from Scotland, helped spearhead the Dolphin defense which only allowed five total shots all game. The result also helped keep JU undefeated at home, as well as keeping visitors to Southern Oak Stadium off the scoreboard. Jacksonville is 2-0-2 at home this season with an 8-0 positive goal differential. Overall, the 'Phins are 2-3-2.

Offensively, Urquhart hammered four shots against Warner which tied her for a game high. The senior started and played 72 minutes, starting the game alongside nine other JU graduating players. Her four shots were a career-high total for a single game. Thus far, Urquhart has five total shots after registering nine total last season.

Last season, Urquhart earned one ASUN Defensive Player of the Week award for her efforts across two conference games late in the season. Already during the non-conference slate, Urquhart has been recognized twice by the league for Jacksonville's two home wins, a 2-0 victory over Miami and Friday's 6-0 rout of Warner.

Conference play does begin this week for the 'Phins as they play host to both Lipscomb and Bellarmine starting Thursday. On Thursday, Sept. 24^th, the Dolphins host defending ASUN champs Lipscomb (3-1-3) at 7 p.m. On Sunday, Sept. 27^th at 1 p.m., the Dolphins host Bellarmine (2-4-1) and this week's ASUN Player of the Week Katie Paulakonis.
