Dolphins Leading Seminole Intercollegiate Through 36 Holes

TALLAHASSEE, Fla.
– The Jacksonville University men's golf team was not messing around on Saturday during the first 36 holes of the Seminole Intercollegiate. The Dolphins circled the field and will hold a five-stroke lead on the team leaderboard with 18 holes to go.

On the individual side, Thomas Thurloway rests in a tie for second after Saturday's action. He fired rounds of 70 (-2) and 68 (-4) to post a -6, 138 total and is just three shots back of the leader Austin Squires of Cincinnati. Michael Sakane and Aaeri Krishnan each posted tallies of 142 (-2) and join the group tied for 10th overall while Eduardo Carrete stalks the leaders in a tie for 17th at -1.

The Dolphins will be paired with players from West Virginia and Louisville and will begin teeing off the first tee at 9:10 a.m. Sam Uhland will lead the group with Carrete following at 9:20, Krishnan at 9:30, Sakane at 9:40 and Thurloway at 9:50.
