Eduardo Carrete has himself positioned for a chance at history when he tees it up in the final round on Wednesday morning.
The junior fired an even-par 71 on Tuesday, improving upon his score from Monday to position himself at two-over-par for the tournament heading into Wednesday's final round. He's just four shots back of the low individual not currently on an advancing team. He's alone at +2 and ranks 23rd overall among the 75-player field.
Carrete will tee it up on Wednesday morning at 9:53 a.m. looking to become the first Dolphin to advance to the national stage.
