Tampa, Fla. – Jacksonville University women's cross country competed Friday night at the USF XC Invitational.
Madeline Weiler crossed the line as the Dolphins top finisher, with a time of 21:33.0
According to Head Coach Jordan Garman "It was really hot for the ladies race so I don't think it was indicative of where our ladies are at. All we wanted was a good effort and we got that."
In total, all three Dolphins who competed finished in the top-100 in the field.
The 5K event at South Florida got started at 5:00 p.m., and featured top programs from Florida, as well as programs from around the country.
Next up for the team is the ASUN Championships on Saturday October 29th.
