Dolphins Stumble on Day One of Carolina Classic

Columbia, S.C. - The Jacksonville Beach Volleyball program fell on day one of the Carolina Classic, hosted by South Carolina.

In the morning, the Dolphins fell to the host Gamecocks, 5-0.

The close the day, Jacksonville battled, but fell to UNCW, 3-2. The tandems of Jenna McNamara and Olivia Szyszkiewicz (3's) and Rina Mitchell and Marissa Rakauskas (4's) picked up victories for the Dolphins.

The Green and White return to the sand tomorrow for day two of the Carolina Classic, facing Stetson and UAB.
