Jacksonville, Fla. – The 51^st season of Jacksonville Volleyball gets underway Aug. 26-27, when the Dolphins travel to the North Texas Invite, third-year head coach Maggie Couture announced today.
 
The 'Phins have four tournaments and 28 regular season matches in total, including 16 matches within the ASUN.
 
JU kicks off 2022 taking part in the North Texas Invite, facing the host Mean Green (Aug. 26) and UTRGV (Aug. 26), closing out the weekend against UNLV (Aug. 27).
 
The month of September begins with the first of two tournaments hosted by JU, starting off with the Dolphin Classic. The Dolphins will play host to UT Chattanooga (Sept. 2), Georgia State (Sept. 2) and Presbyterian (Sept. 3).
 
The following weekend the Dolphins host the Jacksonville Invitational, which includes Tarleton State (Sept. 9), Idaho (Sept. 9) and Florida Atlantic (Sept. 10), making the trip to the River City.
 
A trio of weekend matches at the Trojan Invitational closes out the non-conference portion of the schedule, as the Dolphins square off with Gardner-Webb (Sept. 16), Alabama State (Sept. 16) and Troy (Sept. 17).
 
Back-to-back home matches in Swisher Gym begin ASUN play for the Dolphins, as JU welcomes in-state foes Stetson (Sept. 23) and defending champions FGCU (Sept. 24). The Dolphins end the month facing new ASUN member Austin Peay (Sept. 30), flipping the calendar to October against Lipscomb (Oct. 1).
 
Jacksonville takes on North Alabama (Oct. 7) and Central Arkansas (Oct. 8), hitting the road once again to play Liberty (Oct. 14) and new ASUN and Division I member Queens (Oct. 15). The following weekend, Kennesaw State (Oct. 21) and defending west division champions Jacksonville State (Oct. 22) are welcomed to Swisher Gym. The Kentucky swing of Bellarmine (Oct. 28) and Eastern Kentucky (Oct. 29) close out the month for the 'Phins.
 
A home-and-home pair of matches with River City Rumble rival North Florida (Nov. 4 and 6) begin the final month of regular season play for JU. The Dolphins close out the regular season hosting FGCU (Nov. 11).
 
The 2022 ASUN Volleyball Championship takes place on Nov. 17-19 in Nashville, Tenn., hosted by Lipscomb.
