Beach Volleyball Adds Rabani, Dagenhart to Staff

Jacksonville, Fla. – Jacksonville beach volleyball head coach Dylan Hough announced the additions of Zak Rabani and Madison Dagenhart to his staff on Wednesday.

Rabani joins the Dolphins as a volunteer assistant, after numerous coaching stops along the way, which includes founding the University of South Florida's beach volleyball club program. A two-time graduate of USF, Rabani gained valuable head coaching experience at Florida State University School, Tallahassee Volleyball Academy, and C3 Beach Volleyball Academy. Additionally, Rabani has served as an assistant coach at Aspen High School, Gainesville High School, and Lely High School.

"I have known Zak for probably close to 10 years," Hough said. "Zak is another Naples, FL native who grew up a multi-sport athlete and learned beach volleyball with the same group of people that I did. Zak is a pioneer for beach volleyball in Florida, having started the club beach program at two different universities. Zak has coached and played at a high level for a long time and is someone that I know will have a tremendous impact on our program this year!"

A former Dolphins indoor and beach volleyball player, Dagenhart joins the staff as a graduate assistant. As a setter for the 'Phins, Madison appeared in 21 matches during her indoor career, also earning multiple wins at the 2021 ASUN Beach Volleyball Tournament. Dagenhart is slated to graduate from JU with her bachelor's degree in marketing.

"Madison is another wonderful addition to the beach volleyball staff this year," said Hough. "An excellent student-athlete for both the indoor and beach programs here at JU, Madison brings a lot of knowledge and experience that will be beneficial to the growth of our program!"
