ATLANTA – Lillian Young was named the Atlantic Sun Player of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Young, a freshman from Lebanon, Pennsylvania, scored both Dolphins goals last week against Bellarmine. She currently leads the team in goals and points and ranks second in the ASUN in goals scored and fourth in points. The freshman has scored in five games this season, with the Bellarmine being her first game with multiple goals scored.

She is the first Dolphin this year to be awarded with a weekly award from the conference.

The Dolphins return to action this Thursday and Saturday with a road trip at Kennesaw State and Queens Charlotte, respectively.
