JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A record-breaking number of Jacksonville women's soccer players have been named to the 2025 ASUN All-Academic Team, the league announced Wednesday.
Six overall Dolphins were honored on the ASUN All-Academic Team. That number represents the most Dolphins in a single season being named to the team and the first All-Academic honors since 2015.
The honorees are:
Alicia Rey Perez,
Manuela Restrepo,
Millie Urquhart,
Millie Tugby,
Samantha Sharrocks and
Olivia Peal.
Rey Perez led the squad in the classroom with a 4.00 GPA in her Master of Business of Administration. On the field, Rey Perez led the team in goals with 13 which was also good for second overall in ASUN competition.
Restrepo finished with a 3.97 in her BA of Management. Restrepo also led the team in assists with seven. Her assist number was third best in the league.
Both Urquhart and Tugby earned 3.92 GPAs in their respective majors of Exercise Science and Sports Business. Sharrocks and Peal both secured 3.83 GPAS in Psychology and Business Administration respectively.
The team's record setting All-Academic count comes on the heels of last season's record setting overall GPA. The 2024-25 squad set the JU women's soccer yearlong GPA record with a 3.64 combine GPA.
