JACKSONVILLE, Fla.- The Jacksonville women's rowing team travels to Gainesville for a day of racing against Villanova.

Last week, the Dolphins were unable to record any official times against Florida due to the weather and poor racing conditions. The team was still able to celebrate their seniors as it was their only home event of the season.

This week, JU hopes for better luck with the weather, as six boats are set to compete in the scrimmage.

"Excited to race against some great northern competition," said head coach Mike Lane on the scrimmage. "Villanova is a good program which will show up ready to race.  So excited for that test this weekend.  Spring racing is here and could not be more excited to watch our women compete."
